Italian Cultural Institute Berlin
Daniele Venturi D22 (2020) for Strings Quartet
The piece is contained in the DANTE 21 project, which finally makes its debut live, in its complete formula. A prestigious setting for the Quartetto Indaco will be the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin, which will host the Dante 21 production and the presentation of the record as part of a project by the Accademia Chigiana di Siena – Farnesina.
A work born from the collaboration between Quartetto Indaco and Edizioni Sconfinarte, which brings together 34 composers, a quartet, a publishing and record company for a collective tribute, all Italian, to the immortal poet Dante Alighieri to celebrate the 700 years since his death.
34 pieces for the 34 cantos of hell, in a journey through new voices commenting on ancient verses: and together a wish to all return, after these “infernal” years, to see the stars again!
